About the Event
The NexGen Event continues to evolve in response to the needs of the marketplace.
In 2009 NexGen was introduced as the next generation in machinery events. The economic climate required a new way of thinking about how to conduct business. Machinery manufacturers recognized that their showrooms offered a unique opportunity to view the machinery as well as the strength of each organization—the true value behind the machine.
The Spring 2010 NexGen Event continued this unique cooperation as competitors, coined “coop-etition”. The NexGen Event enables the participating companies to cost-effectively showcase their products within their own facilities. Each facility will feature their latest machinery in operation and experts will be on hand to answer questions.
This Fall’s NexGen, the second one this year, will be held October 5-7, 2010 in North Carolina. The three-day event includes the addition of an evening educational session and reception in each of major cities of the participating companies. Tuesday evening will be in High Point, Wednesday in Mooresville and Thursday in Charlotte. Topics and speakers are still being finalized.
